Banana Crumb Muffins

Mmmm... delicious. My son and I are pretty much muffin finatics, and we thought these were very good. I substituted 1/2 cup of the flour for whole wheat flour and used 1/2 cup of sugar instead of 3/4. These will definitely have to be one of our muffin staples. And it's a great way to use up ripe bananas!

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

A-MAZING!!! I just made them an hour ago and I've already eaten 7... no wait, 8! Oh, and one little tip... don't try the dough after you mix it b/c you wont have any left to cook! I skipped the suggested icing and instead spread the top with a mix of melted Hershey's dark chocolate chips and Hershey's new pumpkin spice Kisses. I thought the melted chocolate/pumpkin spice mixture was truly delicous with the cookies.

Creamy Hot Cocoa

It was very good... too sweet as others have stated (I forgot to read the reviews before making). Next time I will decrease the sugar significantly and I'm sure it will be absolutely perfect! We will be making this frequently this winter since I usually always have these ingredients.

World's Best Lasagna

Wow......... that was delicious! By far the best lasagna I've ever made. I followed the recipe exactly and wouldn't change a thing next time. I think I'll probably use that sauce recipe for other things too like spaghetti, or one reviewer suggested pizza. Yum...

Spinach Brownies

Oh this was great! A simply wonderful way to eat spinach. I carmelized the onions on the stove with a little garlic before adding them to the mixture. I also used sharp cheddar for my cheese and sprinkled some on top for an extra little crunch. My husband even liked them... and that's saying something.

Simple Ranchy Breaded Fish Fillets

Yum! I've tried other tilapia recipes, and this is by far the best. I mixed the ranch and bread crumbs together first. Then I brushed the fish with olive oil and dipped them in the bread crumb mixture. Baked them for 10 minutes at 375 degrees and they came out perfect. Next time I will make a little tartar sauce to dip them in. So easy and very good.

Playgroup Granola Bars

Oh WOW! I made these in the morning and I had eaten 3 by lunchtime! I don't think I can go back to store bought granola bars. I reduced the sugar to 1/2 cup as others reviewers suggested and they were still plenty sweet. And instead of raisins I used dried cranberries and walnuts. When spreading them out, I left 1.5" space in the pan so they would be nice and chewy as suggested by another reviewer. These will be a staple around my house.

Banana Oatmeal Cookie

I had some very ripe bananas I needed to use up and this was a perfect way to do it! I added some chocolate chips and drizzled some confectioners icing on top. I thought they were even better the day after I made them. Yum!

Low-Fat Blueberry Bran Muffins

Delicious! I didn't have any wheat bran, but I used some All Bran cereal and they still turned out yummy. I used dried cranberries once and dried blueberries another time, and added walnuts of course.
