Left-Over Turkey Pot Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2012
For pie crust I used the one in Better Homes cookbook. For veggies: fresh grean beans chopped in to 1 inch pieces, mushrooms, 3 whole chopped carrots, and edamame beans. For gravy: 1 can cream of mush soup, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup water. Freaking awesome!! TIP: only use veggies your family will love!

Very good! I added chicken thighs and only used 1 bell pepper. Other than that made it per recipe! Awesome!

Great! The only change I made was reducing the OJ to 3/4 c. Very good and simple!!

Jennie's Heavenly Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2011
Great! The only changes I made was to use chicken broth instead of wine, but I bet it would be fantastic with the wine! I'll try it like that next time. I also, used chicken thighs instead of breasts!

Sun-Dried Tomato and Blue Cheese Burgers

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2011
Fantastic! I reduced ham. meat to 1 LB, reduced sun dried tomatoes to 1/4 cup, used .3 LB of crumbled blue cheese, and less than 1/4 cup chives. After mixing ingredients, we let it sit in fridge for about 4 hrs. It was wonderful....

Crazy Chicken Marinade Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: May 31, 2011
What a great marinade. I wanted to grill the chicken but we were out of propane, so I had to cook them on the stove. I think they would have been more tender on the grill, but they were still good. I added a tbsp of paprika as suggested by other reviews. Kids loved it so I'm happy!!

Baked Ziti III

Reviewed: May 22, 2011
This recipes was typical of a casserole. It was just okay. Everyone raved about it in the reviews and I thought it was going to be fantastic...it was not. I tossed the noodles in the sour cream as suggested and followed the recipe exactly. I just expected more...

Slow Cooker Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2011
This was so tender! I cooked it on high for a few hrs then turned it to low for a few more. It had a great flavor and was not too spicy. The kids ate it with no complaints. I served it over brown rice with a side of broccoli.

Uglies

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
This was pretty good. I used wheat biscuits and added mushrooms. I thought it was very unique and tasty!! We drained the bbq soaked meat and saved the sauce to drizzel over the uglies when they are through baking. If you bake the sauce with the meat, the bottom of the biscuits will not cook.

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2011
FANTASTIC! I read some other reviews and decided to reduce the balsamic vinegar to 1/4 Cup and I mixed that with 1/2 cup chicken broth. I then added all the spices to the liquid mix and added it to the chicken all together. I topped that off with the can of diced tomatoes and let it simmer for about 25 min. I made brown rice for a side dish. It was so good. I will make this again!!

Mediterranean Linguine with Basil and Tomatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2011
We had some filet mignon left over so I added it to this recipe! FANTASTIC. I made the full 16 oz of pasta but reduced the tomatoes to 1 pint. The red wine venegar and fresh basil really jazz up this dish! It was super easy and tastes great... *Kids even ate it...

These were pretty good, but not as good as "Famous pork chops" from this site. I omitted the milk as others had suggested. I served it with Zatarans dirty rice and broccoli.

Chocolate Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2011
This is way too much chocolate. I used a water bath as others had suggested and the top still cracked! The time was not right either. I had to bake it for another 30 min for the middle to be done. It is very rich! We ended up throwing half of it away! I will not make this again...

Granny's Cherokee Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2011
This was okay, but too watery for my taste. I cooked it on the stovetop instead of oven as someone else had suggested. I would have liked it to be thicker. Maybe I can adjust a few things if I make it again.

Fiesta Chicken and Black Bean Enchiladas-dup

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2011
FREAKING AWESOME!! I used the whole can of corn instead of the recommended 1 cup. I also left out the onions due to kids. We also prefer green sauce instead of red! It made so much that I have a gallon size freezer bag full of the mixture for a later time! Very good (even kids liked it)!!

Slow Cooked Barbecue Beer Beef

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2011
This was wonderful! The only thing I left out was the liquid smoke flavoring. I slow cooked it for about 10 hrs. and it was very flavorful and moist. I used whole wheat buns and veggies to complete the meal. I will be making this again...
