Baked Pineapple II

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2010
This is yummy - especially if you like pineapple! I made it exactly as the recipe states. Next time I will only use the half the amount of crushed pineapple and probably add a little cinnamon and sugar to the top after baking. My husband doesn't like a lot of pineapple (he told me tonight when I served this) but he said he liked it enough to eat it again with less pineapple. The name of the dish - Baked Pineapple is very appropriate! I liked it, although I think it needed a little cinnamon.

Party Chicken II

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2010
Even my husband liked this! He requested that I make it again, which is rare. I made a few changes. I halved the recipe because I was only serving three people including me, and only used 6 chicken legs. I only used 1 can cream of mushroom soup plus 2 tablespoons of water. I also added 1 can of mushrooms. I didn't use the smoked beef because I didn't have any, but it seemed fine without it. I baked it for 2 hours at 375 degrees and the chicken was wonderfully tender. Thanks for the recipe!

Warm and Spicy Autumn Punch

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2009
Even my husband enjoyed this. I didn't do the oranges and cloves, but I'm sure that would've made it even better. I made a smaller batch as my family only has three members. Great for a cool autumn (or even winter) night!

Raisin Rice Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2009
This was my first time to roast whole chickens. I used the Citrus Brine also on allrecipes.com and I think the chicken and stuffing turned out great! My husband, who is hard to please, also liked the chicken and rice (he's not a raisin fan, so he didn't eat those). I also used ginger instead of tumeric as another reviewer suggested.

Balsamic Pea Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2009
I used this recipe hoping for something like the pea salad that my mother in law makes. It was pretty good! I think adding a chopped boiled egg might add something. I also used small cheddar cheese chunks instead of the feta. Good recipe!

Citrus Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2009
I used this recipe to brine 2 small chickens. It was my first time to actually do that. I roasted the chickens in the oven after brining them and they turned out very moist! I didn't use the onion, but I did everything else according to the instructions.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2009
This was good, but a little salty! I added a teaspoon of extra salt and I would NOT recommend doing that. I used cream of mushroom soup and added extra mushrooms. I will probably try this again, minus the salt.

Foolproof Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2009
This is great fudge! Very easy and satisfies the cravings. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I really like my Dad's marshmallow fudge a little better - but this fudge is great for when you don't have time or ingredients to spend on that.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2009
My family loved this! Didn't change anything. My husband hates pork, but he ate several servings of this.

Chocolate Coconut Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2009
I used this frosting on my husband's chocolate birthday cake last night. He loved it (and he's usually hard to please)! I followed a suggestion by the author of the recipe and spread it on the cake before I baked it. The frosting came out warm and gooey on the hot cake. I am very happy with the results!

Chicken Puffs

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2009
I loved these. I made them using canned chicken instead of fresh. Using the canned chicken, they were easy and fast. Even my pickiest eater - my husband - enjoyed them!
