Grands!® Easy Taco Melts

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2013
I wanted to cook my meat first and drain off the fat and got busy and inadvertently added all the salsa to the meat. I didn't read the comments before hand and didn't add taco seasoning. Not a problem, it turned out great with the mistake of adding all the salsa up front. We used a little taco sauce on the top and they were delicious. My hubby said next time do the same thing only add the taco seasoning to see the difference. There is a little meat mixture left which can be put in a tortilla shell for lunch.

Mississippi Tea Cakes

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2010
My cookies didn''t look a thing like the photo. They were sweet but I think that's because of the sugar substitute. Also, the dough was very thick & hard to work with.

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2010
I served this for July 4th on steak rolls with cole slaw on the side for guest to add on top if desired. It was delicious and I was very pleased! I used a 5 pound roast, honey BBQ sauce and a very large vidallia onion. I did not use the oil in the bottom because there was plenty of fat on the bottom of the roast. I did not add extra BBQ sauce before serving. However, I had sauce available for guest to use if wanted. Thank you Catherine for providing us with such a easy and delicious dish.

Cindy's Awesome Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2010
This was fantastic! My husband raved about how delicious it tasted. I must tell the changes I made along with suggestions from others. I used turkey bacon, added 2 ribs of celery and 1/4 cup of onions with the potatoes and carotts. I added 1 tsp. of thyme along with the 2 bottles of clam juice and the juice from the canned clams. Then after adding the leek mixes and the half-n-half I added approx. 4 tsp. of diced pimientos and a handful of chopped fresh parsley. Thanks for a restaurant quality dish!!

Honey Wheat Sandwich Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
These buns were delicious and my husband raved about them as well. One addition I made was to add 4 tsp. vidal wheat gluten. I plan on making these rolls for our annual 4th of July get together. it will be a real treat from the store bought buns.
