Farmer's Casserole

Great easy recipe. Didn't have evaporated milk on hand, so used cream of mushroom soup with a splash of skim milk. Used Turkey Bacon instead of ham.

Ultimate Shrimp Scampi

Delicious! Followed recipe except I used 3 tbs butter and 1/4 c olive oil instead of all butter. Sauce turned out so good! We felt the texture of the avocado was not appropriate to the rest of the dish, and it didn't make sense to us in the overall taste of the dish. Will make again without it!

Oh-So-Good Chicken

Pretty yummy! I spread refried beans on the bottom of the pan, baked tortilla strips on top, as well as extra cheese and a sprinkling of green onions. The crunch added something. Made it without mushrooms.

Portobello Mushroom Burgers

Pumpkin Puppy Pretzels

Easy to make, smell delicious! Might eat one myself : ) Substituted oat flour for the wheat flour, as my dogs are wheat-free, also, the dough was still too sticky, even after adding flour, so I stuck it in the freezer for 15 minutes or so until it was stiffer and easier to roll.

Shrimp and Asparagus

Excellent and easy. Cooked the recipe as written, pretty much, except used 1 stick of butter instead of 2, and let the asparagus cook in the garlic before adding other ingredients. Yum!

Chicken Marsala....ahhhhhh

Soooo good with my own changes. Like a previous post, I added sliced garlic while cooking the chicken (omitted oregano from flour mixture) and cream, chicken broth, and a slurry to thicken at the end. I also added a few splashes of red wine, garlic powder, onion powder (about 1/2 - 1 tsp each), crushed rosemary (rosemary's my girl - she makes everything work) and basil (about a tsp each)....sooooo good....exactly what I was craving
