Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2011
So I get asked for this dish every single time I contribute to any event. It simply is ALWAYS the dish that gets eaten, I have never had left overs with this dish. I often mix it up the night before, refrigerate it and bake it about 40 minutes before its time to attend the event. I use 8 oz of cream cheese that I warm in the microwave to make it mix easier. And then when I'm done mixing I taste taste taste!!! And taste again! Tasting before baking makes all the difference!!

Jezebel Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2011
Made this for a friends baby shower, it turned out great! I can't get pineapple preserves here so I used a can of crushed pineapple... I didn't get enough liquid drained out of it, so it was a little too juicy for my taste....also I used an entire can of crushed pineapple and an entire jar of apple jelly and only 4 oz of horseradish and it was a little too spicy for some of the people at the shower. Over all this is a fantastic Recipe and it will be on my list of party foods forever!

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2010
UGH!!! YUM! make them with regular onion and garlic. basically throw anything you want in them... plus some cheese. Makes wonderful potatoes... just remember when scooping out the flesh it doesn't matter what potato you use just leave a small amount of flesh around the edge of the potato so they hold together. Oh ya and I cover my potatoes in olive oil and montreal steak seasoning before their first bake in the oven. Fantastic!

Breakfast Burritos

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2010
I use sausage and bacon. My husband likes the meat... I also use ANY other veggies that sound good at the time. I often sautee bell peppers, onions, and a little garlic at the bare minimum to add to this recipe. I use the tortillas meant to make lunch wraps. They seem to hold together better while wrapping. As I roll them I wrap them in wax paper and tin foil then we freeze them. Husband takes them to work in the morning. Yes they do take forever to de-thaw and heat up but SO much better than store bought quick breakfast anything!!!

Salsa Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2009
I really like this recipe. I think it is easy to adapt to what you have in your cupboards. Today I am going to make it with spanish rice and a little more chicken. I don't have any cream of chicken so I will use cheddar cheese soup and cream of mushroom. I will be able to cut out some of the shredded cheese that way. And I haven't decided on salsa or canned rotel tomatoes. I haven't used salsa in this recipe yet. I always always always season the chicken. I chop it up before I cook it and then cook it in a skillet with some onions and whatever spices tickle my fancy. A lot of people have been saying it is bland, it is probably because there really isn't any actual seasonings in it. I really like the thought of eating it with taco shells or wrapped in a tortilla as a burrito. I think that is how we will eat the left overs. :) Happy Eating!!!

Awesome Recipe!! I am very glad I found it. I used dark brown sugar instead of lt. and they turned out delicious, with a beautiful caramel color. Very good cookie!

Congresbury Ginger Shortcake

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2009
Tasty but recipe has issues. Either it needs more liquid to make it a "firm dough" Or it needs to be changed to something that specifies it is not a dough but more of a graham cracker crust consistency. It didn't form a dough at any point. Recipe is slightly misleading and that is annoying. Like I said good tasting shortcake though.
