In Dec 2010 I decided to have a more healthy life-style with my eating. I have gone "raw-food" vegetarian but not to the ultimate extreme as most raw foodies. I will allow cooked veggies such as collards, baked potatoes, etc. However, my hubby does not share my complete commitment so I still have to cook meat meals for him.
My favorite things to cook
With my new way of eating, I "cook" less but create more by juicing, using my blender and dehydrator. I have to be very creative with tastes and textures so things do not become boring.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family has never had "traditions" except at Christmas. Everything that anyone would want to eat during the holidays, we save up and do it for ONE DAY OF PIGGING OUT!! It's wonderful.
