Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2010
Really wanted to like this, but something was just off. Will not be making this again.

Tasty Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2010
I've always found green bean casserole kinda boring. I was asked to make it for Thanksgiving, so decided adding bacon and cheese would make it fantastic! Sadly, it still did not make any impression.

Patriotic Trifle

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2010
I brought this to a BBQ yesterday and everyone LOVED it! Even the kids were coming up to me to let me know how much they enjoyed it. This was so simple to make and I will definitely not be waiting to next July 4th to make it again!

Slow Cooker Tipsy Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2010
I was really disappointed with this recipe. It had no taste and the sauce was really watery. I will not be making this again.

Tilapia Pitas

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2010
Was good, but have to say that I didn't like as much as I expected. I was a little nervous about the anchovy, but decided to give it a shot. It actually added a nice flavor that wasn't super dominant. If I were to make again, the one thing that I would change is the amount of Italian salad dressing. It definitely was the strongest tasting out of all the ingredients.

No-Cream Pasta Primavera

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2010
I added a few ingredients to make it a bigger batch. I added pea pods, spinach, brocolli and mushrooms. I separated it in several containers and used it at different meals. I took it to work and had it for lunch, added a little feta and ate it cold. Delish! I heated it up and added chicken, and on a different night had it as a side with grilled fish. A great healthy base that can be made into several meals. I love anything that can be made in bulk to have on hand when you don't feel like cooking. Will definitely be making again!

Slow Cooker Thai Peanut Pork

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2010
My boyfriend is a very picky eater, and it is always challenging getting him to try new things. After putting this in front of him, he scoffed it up and said it was the best pork he ever had. I have now made it several times and will continue to do so!

Brussels Sprouts Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2009
I usually love bussel sprouts, but I did not love this recipe. I don't think that the flavors mixed well and that sprouts are much better with simpler and lighter ingredients.

Nancy's Chicken in Puff Pastry

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2009
This was great! I took some suggestions from others and cooked the chicken entirely prior to putting it in pastry shell. I diced it and sauteed it with some garlic, onions, mushrooms and spinach. This was a great new twist on chicken for dinner!

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2009
Simple, a great side dish. Reheats really well, I took it to work for a healthy and filling lunch the next day. I will definitely make this again!
