Used the 3 bean dressing (oil, vinegar, sugar) as suggested by another user and now I am addicted!

Grilled Peaches and Cream

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2011
Peaches were heavenly! Had to whip my own filling because I could not find the ready-made cream cheese with honey and nuts. I want to make these every time we grill now, so good!

No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
Instead of greasing the pan, I lined it with waxed paper. When cooled, you can lift the dessert out of the pan and cut it into bars without damaging your pan.

Mom's Applesauce Pancakes

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2010
Delicious! I also only used 1/2 tsp cinnamon and it was just enough. We only had chunky applesauce on hand and it ws perfectly fine incase anyone else is stuck in the same situation. These were quite filling and agree that it would sufficiently serve 4 adults. Definitely a do-again recipe.

German Apple Pancake

Didn't have tart apples so used regular red and did not need the extra sugar either that would have been needed for tart apples. DELICIOUS!!!!

Cream Cheese Squares

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2009
Spreading a layer of Apricot preserves over the cream cheese mixture is essential. Also tried half with blueberry and was not nearly as tasty. Definitely one of the best desserts on this website and was still delicious using fat-free or sugar-free ingredients.

Blonde Brownies I

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2009
Used heath chips instead of chocolate chips and mixed them in with the batter instead of the top. A little rich for my taste, but still good.

Penne with Chicken and Asparagus

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2009
Mouthwatering good. I actually like that there is no sauce. Next time I make this however, I am substituting the chicken for shrimp. Can't wait.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2009
Good with suggestions from other users. Definitely only use 1 can instead of 2. 1 was plenty. Also very important to use chicken broth because there needs to be a lot of liquid. And I agree, two cans of mixed veggies is essential, otherwise the recipe is just boring and bland.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

5 star recipe. I used 3 bags of frozen stew vegetables in place of potatoes, celery, onion and carrots. Add 2 cans (undrained) stewed tomatoes, 1 pkt McCormick Beef Stew Seasoning (omit 1/2 tsp salt)

Very good. Used a plastic bag to coat the chicken. Next time will try the crock-pot method as another reviewer suggested.

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2009
You MUST cut the bread crumbs and parmesan cheese quantities in half. You will still have plenty to spare. Next day, cut up leftovers to use in a salad and was de-lish!
