Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2010
These were extremely average pancakes. They did come out fluffy, but I have made better pancakes before. They had a weird aftertaste and were just ok.

Eggless Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2010
This is the best fresh pasta recipe I've found so far. I tried to recreate the pasta taste that I had when I was in Italy, and this recipe is what does it. The biggest secret that I didn't figure out until my third batch of pasta is to let it dry before you cook it! If you cook the pasta right after you cut it it will be too soggy and soft. However if you let it dry for 10-20 minutes (until dry but not flaky) you can make al dente pasta after about 45 seconds of cooking. I also used a pasta machine with this and it allowed me to roll out very thin pasta very quickly.

Tomato Basil Salmon

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2009
This is a very easy salmon recipe to make and definitely tastes good. I only wish the tomato tasted a little stronger, but maybe that was because of the quality of the tomatoes I used rather than the recipe?

Cold Roasted Moroccan Spiced Salmon

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2009
I followed the directions exactly and was disappointed that the salmon was not nearly as spicy as I expected. This is not a "real" Middle Eastern dish. In my opinion there is too much cumin and nutmeg and not enough cayenne pepper or paprika.

Bread Machine Challah II

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2009
This is my favorite challah ever! I don't have a bread machine so I mix it and knead it by hand, then place in a covered oiled bowl for an hour and a half, punch it down to get out air bubbles, then let it rise for another 30 minutes before braiding it. Every time I make the challah everybody loves it and always asks for the recipe. This past shabbat the challah was literally gone in under 1 minute.

Bread Machine Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
I made this with a new bread machine and it was incredibly easy and very tasty. My whole family loved it, and the 12 rolls did not last very long. I will definitely be making these again.
