So much more flavorful than cooking in water! I cooked one brisket in the crock pot on high 6 hrs. The final hour I added a bag of saurkraut and removed the meat. It was firm to slice. Made the best Reuben sandwiches ever - for me - on rye bread w/ cole slaw, saurkraut, melted swiss cheese and 1000 island dressing made from chili sauce and mayo. Huge hit during the football game.
