Hi, I'm Brandy! I live in South Charleston, WV and have just recently bought a home. I'm still trying to settle in, but I'm getting there! I have never really took to cooking (I love to bake though) and wondered if I would ever get to the point of doing it. I'm finally ready and excited about my journey. I do have 4 pups: Bear (black lab mix), Charlie (pit-rot mix), KC (lab-pit mix), and our baby Loki (weimaraner) his is 7 months old and the tallest of them all. It can be crazy in my house sometimes! I definitely like baking sweets the best! I also enjoy appetizers. I'm working on cooking more, but have just really settled in to my new home to where I'm cooking dinner. I have to admit I usually don't, but want to learn more. Usually everything that I do cook, turns out great though. I don't have any complaints! My nana was a great cook! I am starting to build up my collection of her recipes, along my my mother's. My mother is a great cook. I loved many of the things she cooked while I was growing up. She did go through a phase with weight watchers recipes and I didn't care for them much! =) But other than that, she is great. She even came over this year the help me cook dinner for my 1st Thanksgiving and Christmas in my new home. She is a life saver! I still need a lot of work. I am known for my desserts, and I have a couple appetizers that are always a hit at parties. I have had the compliment of many asking for the few recipes that I have. Finishing up a batch of black bottom cupcakes(family recipe), and 1 of my 4 pups getting in the kitchen secretly and scarfing all of them down but 4. I can't really think of anything else, besides rice never turning out for me!
