About this Cook
I've been married for 10 years, am a mother of 3 adorable children and the wife of 1 good-lookin' guy! I love to cook and baking is my FAVORITE!
My favorite things to cook
Cookies, breads, cakes (I like to decorate them too!), anything sweet and especially chocolate!
My cooking triumphs
I have to say that my daughter's Winnie the Pooh "hunny" pot birthday cake turned out awesome! It was 3D and had "hunny" on the top and dripping down the sides. It was so beautiful that I had to cut it from the back so the front still looked good!
My cooking tragedies
I've learned to not be in a hurry when making things... With kids, that's difficult though. My latest tragedy was french bread; minus the salt. It looked awesome, had great texture, but was SEVERELY lacking flavor! :(

Key Lime Pie I
Not my most favorite, but it was good. It was a bit too cheese like for my taste. Not so silky & creamy. Good lime flavor though.

Penne with Spring Vegetables
I just made this for dinner and it was fantastic! I sauteed a small onion, sliced with the asparagus in a large saute pan. Then added a clove of minced garlic and a pinch of red pepper and salt. Then I added the snap peas and let it all cook for about 15-20 minutes. Served over the cooked penne drizzled with a bit of olive oil.
