Johnsonville Sausage Balls

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2014
We really like this convenient breakfast in a Ball. Hubs thinks they'd be great to take out on the hunting trail. I'm going to pack some to eat while traveling by plane next week. Next time I make I'll use Parmesan Cheese. Or maybe Swiss. This recipe is a keeper.

Cranberry Orange Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2011
These are very yummy muffins. I love the flavor of orange in just about anything. I added the pulp (chopped into ity bity bits) after juicing the orange. Just to intensify the orange flavor even more. And, I made them in muffins tins; this recipe made 24 muffins. I froze 6 and between my husband, myself and some of kids dropping by today, they are all gone. This is a keeper.

Nana's Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2011
We love Asian cuisine and this recipe did NOT disappoint. I made this dish as is with one exception. I used my food processor to quickly mince the mushrooms. I also put the cooked and cooled chicken in the FP and pulsed 2 or 3 times to get the texture we like. We like carrots. Again I used my FP to shred them. A very lovely and refreshing dinner. Thanks Baking Nana. We'll be eating this one often.

Creamy Banana Soft Serve

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2012
This is perfect! I used Dutch Cocoa Powder gifted to me by Marianne. I also added in the Peanut Butter. Then scooped into a freezer container for 1 hour so it would roll nicely into an ice cream scoop. Placed in a Sunday dish and topped with chopped Almonds. I have 3 words for this recipe: Dee-lish-us!!! Just perfect for dessert or snack. A very rich and satisfying recipe using NO dairy what-so-ever. You'd never know, it's that creamy.

Sweet Vanilla Cupcakes

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2010
I make this recipe at least once a month. Thanks Marianne for such a great recipe. It's honestly one of my most requested cupcakes. This time I made for a U of O alumni. Go Ducks! In order to get the right color of green, I used 3 oz of liquid food coloring. For the yellow, I used 1/4 tsp Wilton yellow gel. It's topped with a green candy coated chocolate drop. BTW, they were a huge HIT!

This is the BEST Cornbread ever. I made it today to have with chili for the UofO/OSU Civil War game. It's moist and slighly sweet. A great recipe. I will 'fo sho' make again. Thanks Lee.

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
I made this recipe exactly as is. It is "OMG" good. So, so, so good. This will now be the sweet potatoe dish I will make for my family from now on. BTW, they were scarfed down the first pass around the Thanksgiving table. There were no seconds. Yeah, THAT good!

Peanut Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2012
This is a really great P-nut butter frosting because of it's creamy texture. I think adding cream is what makes this one a keeper. I've tried others, but this one is the best so far. Drizzling fudge sauce on top and sprinkling with Kosher Salt took it over the top. They were given to my wonderful neighbor for mowing my lawn! His review; FANTASTIC Candice. Will you please make me some more. LOL!

Swiss Parmesan Baked Halibut

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2014
This is so easy and absolutely delicious! Both hubs and I loved it! I had a large 3lb Halibut Steak, so I doubled all the ingredients, popped in the oven while I made a light salad and bakers to serve as sides. I will be making this again! Thank you Semigourmet for this FANTASTIC recipe!

Quite possibly the best Pork Loin Roast I've ever eaten. Moist and full of flavor, an ultimate comfort food with all the elegance of a "FOR Company only dish." This will be our Christmas Holiday Meat dish.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2012
This Cream Cheese Frosting is very CREAMY! I suspect it's the 2 packages of cream cheese in it instead of the usual one. I like the fact that it only takes 2 cups of powdered sugar too. My husband said the cream cheese flavor really comes through. I will make this again when I need a Cream Cheese Frostin.

Baked Tomatoes Oregano

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2012
We like tomatoes prepared this way very much. Using Romano cheese gave it the salty taste and the bread crumbs gave it the crunch. Great side for the very little effort. I used Heirloom Tomatoes purchased at the Farm Stand.
