Lemon Lavender Cupcakes

To Patty Cakes and Magnolia Blossom AND everyone else....
My Culinary Grade Lavender arrived yesterday in the mail and I finally got to make those Lemon Lavender Cupcakes I last blogged about. Was the wait worth it? Absolutely! I ate about 1/4 of the batter and then 3 of the baked cupcakes. They really are that yummy.
The hardest part of the recipe? Locating the stinkin' Lavender. I finally ordered it from Mt. Hood, Oregon Lavender Farms. No one in my area had any. I checked with every single grocery store and speciality store in my town and all the nurseries. I didn't know
it was that unusual an ingredient.
But, alas, I have my lavender and will be making everything I can using my precious little 6oz pouch I paid $5.95 for plus $6.95 shipping. I'll be looking for other recipes on AR; but of course would love to get some from you all.
