Day Before Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
This was good and I was grateful to have it ready to go in the oven when Thanksgiving morning came around. Our family prefers a big pot full of real mashed spuds, but this would be perfect for a potluck!

Roasted Root Vegetables

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
Made this for this past Thanksgiving. Reduced the servings to only 4 since we were only feeding 3 adults and 2 kids. Tasty and very healthy option for the holidays!

Out of this World Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
Good brine! I have used others that are even simpler (and some much more complicated as well). Brining is the ONLY way to prepare a turkey!

Cranberry Apple Cider

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2007
This is DELICIOUS! I've been making this every Thanksgiving and Christmas for a few years now. My father-in-law says it's the best apple cider he's ever had!

Incredible Punch

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2003
Very yummy! I replaced the ginger ale with grapefruit soda and did take it out of the freezer a little earlier than suggested. Highly recommended!

Hawaiian Hot Dog Surprise

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2003
This was WAY too sweet! I would suggest making the traditional barbeque-style dish over this one.

Beef Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2003
Excellent recipe! I usually add a little cumin and red pepper flakes to the meat and onion mixure before rolling the tortillas to add a little more heat. These are great with either red or green enchilada sauce! Thanks!

Floating Island Punch

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2003
Excellent punch! I made this for my sister's bridal shower, and it was a really big hit! I did have a little trouble making the water/sugar syrup, and the day after it was a little too sweet, but it still turned out great!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2002
Excellent over rice! Definitely a keeper! I make this recipe about once a month, and have learned to lower the oven temp a little (to about 375), and just keep brushing on the sauce every 10 min. until the edges of the chicken just start to get a little burned. I use 3 or 4 chicken breast halves instead of thighs, and reserve about 1/2 of the sauce to drizzle over the chic. when done.

I use this recipe for cupcakes. It is so sweet and moist, no need for frosting!

Garlic Butter

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2002
I wish I could give this recipe more than 5 stars, it is outstanding! Like other posters, I also reduced the amount of garlic salt. I freeze what's left after buttering up a loaf of sliced Italian bread. Tastes like garlic toast from a restuarant!
