Best Oven Baked French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2015
This was really good. I made it with Texas Toast instead of 2 layers of bread and added vanilla and one more egg. Will make this one again.

Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: May 27, 2014
I made this potato salad exactly as written. It was good, but I don't think it will replace my normal potato salad.

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2014
This one was just OK for us, I think due to the pork chops being too thin, it was really dry and I only baked them for 20 minutes. The sauce was really good, I will try again with thicker pork chops,

Original Ranch Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2014
These were tasty. I had boneless thinner chops so I just cooked mine 10 minutes on each side and they were perfect.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2013
These were a hit in my family. I made the recipe exactly as written and wouldn't change a thing. I know I'm going to be making these again before Christmas since they ate so many last night! I got 48 cookies from the recipe. I think it depends on how big your mini muffin pan is.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2013
Made this with a few revisions per others reviews. I made double the sauce, boiled my chicken and vegetables in chicken stock, added a couple of diced potatoes and some garlic powder. It was really yummy, hubby and son loved it; a keeper for sure.

Sweet and Sour Chicken II

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2013
This is a really good recipe. I did add some onion and also about 1/4 cup of ketchup to the sauce and omitted the celery because I don't care for it. It was really yummy.

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2012
This is a good apple crisp. I made it with home grown jonnagold apples. The only thing I changed was to use Old Fashioned Rolled Oats, because that is all I had in the house. I think I might try brown sugar vs. white sugar next time I make it to give it a more caramel flavor. Pecans would be good in the topping also.

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2012
My family loved these. One of my sons even said this may be his new favorite, so I will be making these again! I made the recipe as written, doubled the recipe to use a whole bag of chips. Mine took 13 minutes per pan.

Asian Lettuce Wraps

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2012
We all really like these, I used fresh minced ginger instead of pickled, since that is what I had on hand. Otherwise made as written. It was a hit with the whole family.

Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2012
This was a great weeknight dinner. We all liked it. I did substitute grilled rotisserie chicken for the chicken breast meat, since I had some on hand. I mixed it up in the casserole dish and baked it covered for 15 minutes, then uncovered it and baked it for 15 more minutes, worked great and I only had to wash one dish!

Honey Glazed Pork Tenderloin

I really liked this one as did our youngest son, my DH said he didn't care for it. I'm going to try it one more time. I added garlic to the sauce, otherwise made it as written.

Our family really liked this coleslaw. I did cut back on the sugar about 1/2 cup for a double recipe. Will be making this one often! Thanks for a great recipe.

Italian Sausage Tortellini Soup

This was delicious. My whole family loved it. As per other reviewers, I did put more Italian sausage in the soup and I used turkey sausage instead of regular to cut down on fat/calories. It was great!

I baked these today, and they are awesome! Smelled and tasted wonderful. I made the recipe as written, except I doubled it and used half butter and half shortening. A great addition to my holiday cookie tray!
