Baked Ziti IV

Loved this recipe! I added ricotta cheese, about a half cup. It was so creamy and delicious. This is my new go to for baked ziti. I also subbed thyme for rosemary.

Hot Sausage Casserole

This was so easy and yummy! I made a few modifications because of what I had on hand. I had about 2-1/2 cups cooked rice, so I browned the meat and added the meat and rice to a baking dish. Then sauteed red bell peppers, onions, celery, and mushrooms. Cooked about 5 minutes then added all that to the pan too. I had 2 cans of cream of chicken soup so I added that and on can of cream of onion. I omitted the water because the rice was cooked. Then mixed everything and baked it for about an hour. Will make this again! So easy and yummy

Lori's Famous Crab Cakes

These were great , but I had to make a few additions. I used a 16oz package of flaked imitation crab. I added a little extra green onion, 1 jalapeno, 3 cloves garlic and 1/8 cup parmesan. Made the garlic aoili sauce to dip them in. Yum!!

Homemade Wonton Soup

This was delicious! I added sliced carrots into the broth with the other veggies. I also added about 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger into the meat mixture. We will be making this lots more!

Anna's Amazing Easy Pleasy Meatballs over Buttered Noodles

This is a great recipe if your looking for a quick dinner. I only had 16oz if meatballs and used 1 can of cream of celery and french onion soup, then about 1/2-3/4 cup of sour cream. I also added 1/2 cup of water to thin it out a little.

Crispy Orange Beef

This was very differnt. I loved the orange flavor. Served it over rice. Next time I would add a little spice to the orange. Maybe some pepper flakes or a chopped pepper.

Quick Sesame Green Beans

This was very good and simple. I didn't have the miso paste, so I just left it out but plan on making it again with it. I also used ginger paste, because its what I had. I used about 1/2 teaspoon. I added a tablespoon of sesame oil to the mixture too. Very good! Thanks for sharing.

Thai Cucumber Salad

Made this salad to go with some brats we grilled. It was different. I followed the recipe exactly, it has a nice hot and sweet taste. Next time I will add red onion and carrots like some of the reviewers mentioned. Thanks for sharing a simple, quick salad!

Spicy Chicken Thai Soup

This recipe was delicious. There is something missing from the recipe, in step #5 it says to add the lime juice, but nowhere in the ingredients is lime juice listed other then the limes for garnishment. I used 2 tablespoons because I found another thai recipe similiar to this one and that's what it called for. Other then that, I followed this recipe to a T, and it was wonderful. Although, next time I would like a little more heat and will use serrano peppers instead of jalapenos. Also, this is a light soup recipe, and if your looking to make it more hearty try using basmati rice or glass noodle with it. They are both great. Thanks for sharing, will be using this often.

Basmati Rice Pilaf

This was my first time making basmati rice and it turned out great. I usually use chicken stock in my regular rice and the bay leaf added great flavor. Thanks for sharing, will be using this again.

Grilled Chicken with Spicy Mango Glaze

I made this a while ago and it was very good, I thought it would be too sweet but, it came out to be the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. I used some of the garlic chile paste that I had leftover. Served with the white mexican rice recipe from gema, on this site. Thanks for sharing Ken!

Sensational Sirloin Kabobs

Now, I tend to like my marinades with a little kick. We made this for mothers day, so I wanted something a little less spicy for others to enjoy. Everyone loved this recipe. I would personally give it 4 stars, just because it was was to sweet for my tastes, if I make this again I would cut the brown sugar down to about 1 tablespoon or maybe even 1/2 tablespoon and add some chile. Good recipe.

Bacon Ranch Chicken Skewers

The kabobs were delicious! I doubled the amount of chile, just because I like it spicy. I let them marinade for about 3 hours and they had the best flavor. Added some extra veggies to half of them: mushrooms, bell peppers, tomatoes and zucchini. Great recipe, thanks for sharing!

Spicy Scarborough Chicken Marinade

This is just the right amount of heat. Grilled some chicken with this for dinner and served with salad and cheesy poblano rice. Used the leftover chicken the next day for chicken burritos. Great recipe!
