Grandmother Stougaard's Caramel Pecan Sweet Rolls

I'm thrilled to be the first to rate this recipe! These are the BEST cinnamon rolls I've made on this site! As for being time consuming, they are no more than any other cinnamon roll recipe. I had originally planned to frost them, but they are perfect without. My husband who doesn't usually like sweets, can't get enough of these. The only change I made was chopping the pecans instead of leaving them whole. You've got a real winner here. Thanks so much for submitting.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

These are absolutely the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever made! I am not a big fan of chocolate chip cookies, but my husband was asking for some so I deceided to try this recipe. Boy, am I glad I did! They are exactly like you stated...chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside. I used Ghiraradelli semi-sweet chocolate chips(which I think are better than the Nestles)and followed the recipe to the letter. I also think using butter instead of margarine is a must to obtain the perfect texture. THANK YOU, THANK YOU,THANK YOU Dora!

1-2-3 Vegetable Chili

I really didn't like this chili. Neither did my family. Maybe it was because I used homemade salsa instead of the Taco Bell brand. I didn't add the zucchini either, but I don't think that was the problem. Sorry, but I won't be making this again.

Best Cream Of Broccoli Soup

This is a really great soup, although I did add about 8oz. of Velveeta to mine(my family likes cheese)I would have liked it either way. This is good enough to serve to company. Thanks for a great recipe!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

This was probably the best pumpkin bread recipe I've ever tried! It had just the right amount of spices to compliment the pumpkin. You were right about it being better the next day. Actually, it still tasted fresh and moist after several days. Thanks so much for a recipe I will use often!

The Casserole

While I thought this was really good, my family didn't like it, but they don't like casseroles. I substituted stew meat for the hamburger and it turned our great. Thanks for a great recipe that would be good for a potlcuk dinner.

Cream Puff Cake

I took this to a family gathering and everyone loved it! I was asked for the recipe numerous times and would definately make this again. I may try chocolate pudding next time. This is so EASY and so ELEGANT! Thanks!

Oatmeal Bread II

This is a really good bread recipe, although mine fell a little during baking, it still tasted great! I served it with a vegetable soup recipe from this site. Ate some the next day for brakfast, toasted. YUM!

V-Eight Vegetable Beef Soup

I thought this soup was REALLY good! Like the previous reviewer, I added Lipton Onion soup because I like onion in my soup. I will definately make this again. You can't beat it for its quickness and flavor!

Silver's Savory Chicken and Broccoli Casserole

I made this casserole and a sweet dinner roll from this site for a friend who just had a baby. I wanted something that they could use now or freeze for later. They thought it was very good, so I can't wait to make it for our family. My daughter who especially loves chicken and broccoli will really love this. Would also be good with California blend vegetables. Thanks!

Our family really loved this bread! I also served it with chili and also toasted it for breakfast. It was great both ways. My son who only likes store bought bread thought it was good. That's why I gave it 5 stars for kid friendly. Thanks for a good recipe I will use often.

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

I have made these cookies several times. Some plain and some with milk chocolate chips. These cookies are excellent either way. I doubled a batch and my daughter took them to a Volleyball game. The whole team loved them! I thought the dough was a little sticky too, so I refrigerated the dough for about an hour and it was fine. Thanks for a great recipe that I will use often!

Banana Cake VI

After reading the reviews about the baking temp., I wasn't sure which way to go. I decided to bake as originally stated. I had to leave it in the oven maybe 5 minutes longer than specified, but it turned out GREAT! I didn't put it in the freezer tho and I still thought it was very moist. The frosting was really good, but I thought it was too much. Next time I will maybe make half. Otherwise, this is a very unusual and delicious cake.

Simply Amazing Meatloaf

I made this last night and while it had very good flavor it was too dry, although I made it exactly as recipe indicated.I think it needs some liquid added to it. I will definately make this again adding a cup or so of tomato juice. My nine year old son loved it and he hates meatloaf.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

these rolls were WONDERFUL!!! my family loved them. I haven't had rolls this good since I was a kid...my mom baked rolls and bread 2 to 3 times a week and these were just like hers. thanks!
