My cooking triumphs
My greatest thrill is setting the table with foods that we have grown ourselves, or harvested from the wild. My potatoes, tomatoes, onions, garlic, lettuce, beans, cabbage, peppers, along with fish from the local inland lake, or wild rabbit, wild turkey, or venison, Home made sauerkraut, sausage, jerky. Dried herbs, mushrooms from the fields, wild leeks. A lot of self-satisfaction!
My cooking tragedies
As a young bride I mistook baking soda for corn starch. There IS a difference!

Campbell's(R) Healthy Request(R) Chicken and Pasta Primavera
I, too, changed a few things: fresh broccoli, sliced mushrooms and diced onion instead of frozen veggies. A bit of poultry seasoning. Then added the spaghetti noodles to the saucepan and allowed to simmer together for a few minutes - delightful!

Penne Primavera
Great base recipe, I added diced onion and snow peas, and omitted the frozen peas. This is one recipe I KNOW I will use again and again - and it will never have the same veggies in it. So very versatile !
