Black Magic Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2009
I got this recipe from a magazine but it was for a bundt pan, baked for 45 to 50 min., cool completely and dust with powdered sugar. It is good just plain. Everyone I make this for loves it. So simple to make.

French Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2011
Fantastic!!!!! So simple and easy to make. Husband couldn't believe I made it. Thought it was from the bakery. Ran out of Tostidos for Velveeta, Rotel dip and used the french bread. Really good. Wanted to try it with french toast but didn't have any left. Will have to make two batches for that. Family loved it. Will make this at least once a week by popular demand. I did add 1T olive oil and used 2 1/2 cups bread flour and 1 cup whole wheat, baked on parchment paper sprinked with cornmeal. Sooo easy. Thanks

The Original Fantasy Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2012
This is THE recipe for fudge. Have requests for it every Christmas. It is so easy but seems to taste better when someone else makes it. I have found that the biggest mistake you can make is "not" cooking it for 5 minutes at a rolling boil. Start timing it when it starts rolling around the edges. Yum.

Cream Puffs

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2013
Fantastic results. I used chocolate pudding and grandkids loved them. Also used the review from MommyFromSeattle and it made it even easier to make. Going to try the vanilla pudding next and use almond extract that Mandy told us about and maybe a little touch of sugar in the puff for just a hint of sweetness. Small ice cream scoop also works to keep even portions. Just love all the reviews. I can pick and choose which ones I want to try. Makes baking treats an adventure.

Sweet Restaurant Slaw

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2013
Loved this recipe. Family couldn't believe I made it. I did use celery seed and 2 bags (10 ounce) coleslaw mix. I tossed it about every half-hour. Had a little left over the next day and it was even better. Thanks for the wonderful recipe. I know it will be asked for again and again.

Campbell's Kitchen French Onion Burgers

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2013
Haven't tried this one yet but I've been making something similar that tastes just like it. Brown the meat and drain the grease, then add the soup and cook down. Open hamburger buns and put on top to steam slightly. Put meat mixture on bun and you can top with cheese but I think it tastes great without. Add a salad and you have a great meal.

Crescent Pizza Pockets

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2014
Dough is hard to work with unless really cold. To much filling and to sweet for pizza. May be good for dessert.
