Amazing Whole Wheat Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2011
This was my first successful attempt to make pizza crust and it turned out fantastic! It was so much easier than I thought it would be. I used 3 1/4 cup whole wheat flour to make it "whole wheat" as other reviewers stated. I mixed it with the dough hook in my kitchenaid mixer so there was no need to knead it. I seperated it in 2 and just pressed it out to the edges of my 2 large pizza stones so it made fairly thin crusts. I prebaked 1 for 5 minutes then topped it and baked 8 more minutes, the other I just topped and baked for 13 minutes without prebaking it and they both came out great. Instead of brushing the pan with oil I just sprinkled it with cornmeal. We'll definitely be making this crust again!

Pork and Green Chile Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
This was even better than I expected! I did use 1 can of chile peppers and a can of rotel with chiles for the tomatoes and I used regular brown rice. Since I used regular brown rice instead of instant I increased the water to 2 cups and let it simmer a little longer. We ate it with natural tortilla chips two nights in a row. It got rave reviews from everyone!

Amber's Sesame Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2010
I have been searching for a good sesame chicken recipe for years with no luck...until this one!! This was better than our local chinese restaurant's sesame chicken. The only change I made per other reviews was doubling the sauce. It got rave reviews from my husband and two little girls! They couldn't believe it when I told them how easy it was to make. Thank you for sharing this excellent recipe!!

Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2009
I admit I was a little skeptical of this recipe, but I am so happy I made them anyway. These were a hit with the whole family! It is very hard for me to get my husband to eat anything without meat and he really liked these. It made so much that I had enough for lunch three days in a row! The only thing I changed was that I used black beans after reading other reviews, I also put a little bit more chili powder to spice it up more. We didn't even used the sour cream or salsa. They were excellent! Thanks for sharing!
