Traditional Springerle

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2009
I liked the look of this recipe compared to the one that was passed down from my grand-mother, to my mother and then to me. I use a Springerle rolling pin rather than a mold, but I may see if I can find a mold for a different look. I have not yet inherited the rolling pin my mother got from her mother.

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2014
This has become a new family favorite. I add nutmeg and cinnamon for flavor. This year I topped with marshmallows.

Ranch Dressing II

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2014
I tried it using greek yogurt and buttermilk. Next time I will try with the suggested buttermilk, mayo, sour cream combo. I used season salt, dill mix and garlic pepper mix. Because of the ingredients I did not use much onion powder and no additional garlic powder. I did add chives as it called for. With the yogurt it was not as thick as I like for a dip, but worked well on salad. Thanks Dawna and others!

Grilled Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2009
I love to make this. My variation is to use honey instead of jelly. I use a sandwich grill that I have, rather than using a pan. Easy, wipe up cleaning.

Cream Cheese, Garlic, and Chive Stuffed Chicken

I love all of the alternate suggestions. That makes this a recipe that can be used more than once a week. It is easy and tastes great.
