About this Cook
I am, by no means, a good cook. I'm in my 30s and have only been cooking for a few years. Also, I dine out way too much. There's 16 restaurants on my block alone, how can I resist? So, I found this site one day when I was looking for some slow cooker chicken recipes. I still have not used my brand new crockpot, but have found some excellent (easy-to-make) dishes on this site, so I'm staying!
My favorite things to cook
I do not eat red meat, pork, or any "dark meat" chicken/turkey so most of my meat dishes consist of chicken, seafood and fish. I love soups and dips, especially vegetarian style.

Chicken Pot Pie IX
When I first read this recipe I thought it was too intricate for my beginner cooking skills but I followed the recipe to a T and it turned out pretty good. I made it a second time taking some recommendations from others and tweaking it a bit and it turned out even better. I'm sure it's completely fattening but if it wasn't, I would make this all the time!

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken
This is probably the best recipe I've pulled off of this site. I was a bit skeptical at first because I like my curry hot and not sweet, but WOW, what a mouth watering dish! The curry is very subtle and even if you're not a fan, you'd surely love this chicken! Next time, I will use less butter as the recipe called for a bit too much.

Eggplant Tomato Bake
This appetizer is simply delicious! I used a grated three cheese blend rather than the Parmesan. I seasoned the eggplant and Tomato with salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. I'll definitely make this again!
