Honey Wheat Bread III

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
A very tasty bread, but didn't hold its shape too well for tuna salad sandwiches. I would make it again.

Light Oat Bread

Followed the directions exactly. Dough was really wet and during baking in my bread machine, the top sunk. Came out gummy, but still had a good taste.

Grandma's Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2009
Good, I made the recipe as is. A little too sweet for my taste, so next time, I'd probably cut the sugar down to 1 Tbsp.

Apple Crumb Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2009
I added the walnuts and raisins. Before adding the raisins, I soaked them in 3 Tbsp. amaretto for about 4 hours. Also reduced sugar to 1/2 cup as others suggested. I'm not a fan of apple pie and I went back for a second slice :)

BAKER'S Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2009
Awesome!!! Followed other reviews: substituted 1/2 the butter with applesauce, 1/2 the flour with whole wheat flour, and 1 cup butterscotch chips for the chopped chocolate. Will definitely make again!!!

Hummus III

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2011
Made as is the first time and it was great! The second time, I made it to personal preference: used 16 oz can garbanzo beans (undrained), 2 Tbsp. tahini, 1/2 tsp. cumin, omitted salt, and added 1/4 cup jalapeno pepper slices, then blended...TERRIFIC :)
