This soup was very good. I did change it a little bit. I had no celery and added a chopped tomato while cooking. I coated the beef in flour seasoned with salt and pepper, browned it then simmered it in 2 cups of water for an hour before adding the rest of the ingredients. I also added a bottle of beer instead of a little bit of broth. I cooked it for another hour with all ingredients until the barley was soft and beef very tender.

Good recipe! I used regular all purpose flour, margarine and only one cup sugar and it turned out great!

Broccoli Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

This was really good! I did add some mushrooms cooked in the butter,used frozen broccoli and added some cream towards the end of cooking. I also served it with fresh homemade pasta.

Tofu Salad

Very good taste, but next time I would double the amount of marinade. I added extra chili sauce at the end because there was just not enough marinade. I will definitely make this again!

Roasted Red Pepper Lasagna

This was really good! I used whole wheat noodles and added mozzarella cheese. My husband even enjoyed this and he is a big meat eater. My 2 year old son even liked it! Thanks for the recipe!

Banana Fritters

Really good! I used overripe bananas and half and half cream instead of milk (only because I didn't have milk on hand). A little greasy, but that is to be expected. A great (occasional) treat!

Banana Oatmeal Cookies I

Excellent! The only changes I made were I cut to cloves to about 1/4 tsp and added 1/2 tsp nutmeg. Very cakey. Makes a lot-I got 4 dozen.

Simple Beef Stroganoff

This looks just like the recipe I always make. The only difference I see is I add a few slices of chopped bacon with the ground beef while cooking it adds great flavour!

Broccoli Fish Bake

I love this recipe! It is so easy to make and the ingredients are easy to substitute. I made it once with asparagus instead of the broccoli and cream of celery soup instead of broccoli soup. I have followed the recipe using tilapia fish and I have tried with basa. Very good every time!

Mushroom Chicken Parmesan

Bananas 'N' Cream Bundt Cake

The best cake!!! I have made it a few times for company and everybody loves it! I have made it following the recipe (except I added chocolate chips instead of walnuts) and I have made it replacing strawberry apple sauce for some of the bananas. It turned out great every time! Thanks for the amazing recipe!

Oregon Salmon Patties

I used this recipe as a guideline and used left over salmon.(I have never been a big fan of canned)I also used green onions instead of white and added garlic. I didn't need any extra liquid and they held together nicely. This is a great way to use up left over salmon!

Mushroom Meatloaf

This was very good. I minced the mushrooms (except the 6 whole ones) as well as the onion and half a red pepper in a food processor. I also added garlic. I also put garlic bbq sauce on top about 20 minutes before it was done baking. It was really tasty and juicy and I will definitely make it again!
