wife and mother. have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren ,,,4grandsons and l granddaughter ...oldest being 15 and youngest being 4. enjoy cottage life at lake of the woods in ontario. love to travel,,, been to Ukraine, Israel, mexico, hawaii, florida and etc. very involved in my church: do alot of cooking there with the different programs; alpha, funeral committees, womens ministries and anything inbetween. love to cook.
My favorite things to cook
some of my favourite things to cook; lasagna, stews, casseroles , perogies, different soups (of the cuff type of soups).
My favorite family cooking traditions
cabbage rolls, cheese crepes, perogies, mixed fruit salad (cooked) especially at holiday times.
My cooking triumphs
Having to cook for banquets, big dinners at church for crowds.my favourite being a stuffed chicken dish or chicken with cranberry-marmalade-sauce over chicken. yummy.
My cooking tragedies
made a salad and added to much cayenne pepper. wow was it hot or what! ended up rinsing it under the tap and trying to undo the mistake. still too hot . made for 150 people. i am reminded about it every so often.

Excellent recipe,,, I lined my cookie sheet with graham wafers and poured the mixture over. Cool and broke into pieces,,, extra yummy!!! worth trying,,, you won't be sorry.... lydd

the best,,,, great tasting,,,, gave away as hostess gifts to friends and they totally enjoyed. Passed out recipes to friends. Will definitly make again.
