About this Cook
I'm married with 4 kids. I taught myself how to cook when I was first married. It was a long, very bumpy path, but I'm pretty good now.
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking soups and stews. I also like coming up with my own desserts.
My favorite family cooking traditions
When I was little, I rarely got to visit my Grandma. But every time I did, we would bake an upside down pineapple cake. To this day, baking that cake brings back wonderful memories of my Grandma.
My cooking triumphs
My chicken noodle soup. I always have to make extra!
My cooking tragedies
Biscuits. Me and biscuits just don't get along. Also, Gazpacho. I tried to make red gazpacho once. It ended up green (until I added red food coloring). It tasted horrible! My husband actually got sick.

Turkey Burgers
I wasn't impressed with these burgers. I love onion but with these there was just too much onion flavor. I might try it again using only half the soup packet.

Chocolate Caramel Brownies
Wow. These are amazing. Easy to make and delicious. My husband says they're too sweet but what does he expect when the three main ingredients are chocolate cake, chocolate chips and caramel? lol. The only thing I changed was the chocolate chips. I only had one cup, but I went ahead and made it anyways and they still came out great. I'll definitely be making these again!

This is delicious! I didn't change a thing and it was great. Plus it was so easy. My family and friends thank you.
