Chocolate Crinkles II
I was so excited to try these cookies after seeing the great reviews. I took the suggestion of adding a little peppermint extract. They were a little time consuming but I enjoyed making them. I was disapointed in the flavor. I felt that they were pretty bland. I used brand new high quality cocoa but I feel maybe it needed more? I took some over to my inlaws where I have a reputation for making delicious goodies. I was over there a week later and there was the container of cookies with quite a few left in there. They obviously didn't think they were all that delicious either. I won't be making these again, not with all the work that was involved.

Seven Layer Dip I
This is a great recipe, I do something a little different that I think makes a big difference. For starters I don't typically put beef in it but that's just a personal pref. I think adding a pkg of taco seasoning to the beans is key!! Then spread that on the bottom and layer with the other toppings, I usually have a thin layer of finely chopped lettuce and have even put a can of chopped green chilies for a different flavor. But love it!!! I make it for work all the time.
