Jewish Style Sweet and Sour Brisket
So simple, yet so delicious! My husband RAVED about it! All 3 of my kids loved it, including the picky eater! I followed the recipe exactly except for letting it sit overnight, and I cooked it in a crockpot all day after browning it. My husband WANTED the leftovers the next day, but there wasn't enough left for a whole meal for him; we ate THAT much. I made it earlier this week, and I'm going to use the same sauce recipe today for a pork shoulder roast and make pulled pork sandwiches. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff
This is the best recipe I've ever gotten from the internet. I didn't have Italian dressing mix, so I used Lori's suggestion for "Italian Herb Salad Dressing mix Clone" at www.recipezaar.com and used 1 tsp. oregano, basil, paprika and freshly ground black pepper, 1/2 tsp. onion powder, 1 TBS garlic powder, and two tablespoons of granulated sugar. I also added 2 cups of chicken stock when I added the cream of chicken soup because so many people have said the sauce was too thick. I also added a little garlic salt to taste at the end. I have to say, it didn't LOOK real appetizing, but, smelling it all day long sure made everyone eager to taste it. My WHOLE family LOVED it. My husband said, "This is definitely a 'do it again' recipe" and he's picky about textures. My son made a face at the way it looked,but, gobbled it up and asked for seconds and thirds! I will definitely make this again and again, and share the recipe with my friends!
