Homemade Pizza Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2009
Made homemade pizza for the first time using this recipe for the sauce. It was too sweet for pizza sauce and tasted funny. maybe ok for chicken cacciatore or something, but not for pizza.

French Toast Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2009
Really good. I cooked it for 45 min but I coulda cooked it longer as the middle was alittle soggy yet. The top and bottom were nice and crunchy. I added a teas of cinnamon to the egg mixture as well. I used 6 slices of regular white bread. I'll make this again.

Strawberry Pie II

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2009
AWESOME - AWESOME!! I put 4oz of cream cheese at the bottom, next time I will use the entire 8oz block. It helped with the crust not getting soggy & it went extremely well with the strawberries. I used a frozen pie crust - just bake. BEST STRAWBERRY PIE EVER!!

Cajun Chicken Lasagna

I left out the celery & sage. It didnt really taste much different than fettucini alfredo, just with alittle more kick. So if you like fettucini alfredo, you'll like this.

Juicy Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
I marinated 1 hour on each side and they were juicy, but alittle salty. Next time I may only marinate half hour each side. My husband said he liked them alot. Broil for about 7 minutes each side, after 5 they were still pink inside.

Raspberry Almond Coffeecake

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2009
Very good! I doubled the recipe and used a 8' square pan and it turned out nice. I followed advice from other users and added 4TB milk to batter(add only 2TB if not doubleing). I'm glad I did, because the batter is really thick.

Easy Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2009
EXCELLENT! I didnt have bread crumbs so I used stuffing mix and it was very good. Also used swiss cheese instead of string cheese. Make sure you secure tightly with toothpicks, the center oozes out very easily!

Creamy Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2009
This was pretty good. I added 1/2 light sour cream as well as onion powder to taste. I also didnt boil the chicken, I pan fried it seasoning it with pepper. No need to use any oil or butter when frying the chicken, it's juicy enough it wont stick.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2009
I simply placed chicken breasts on bottom of crock pot - mixed 2 cans of cream chicken soup with 1 can of chicken broth, 1 teas onion powder, 1/2 teas pepper, frozen vegi's in a large bowl and poured over chicken. No need to add water or butter! Cook low for 8 hours then added bisquits (only had room for 1 can) Bisquits took 2 hours to fully cook. Mine was still alittle watery so I mixed 2TB of flour with water and added to thicken. EXCELLENT

Easy Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2009
This was EXCELLENT... after doing some tweaking. Husband & I thought it was very bland following the recipe exactly so we added 1 can of cream of mushroom soup as well as seasoning salt & garlic powder to taste. We also used beef sirloin instead of ground beef. Also, make sure you mix the broth and flour together first before adding to the mix so it doesnt get lumpy. Have made this a few times and it will stay on our list of favorite meals!

Paul's Pumpkin Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2009
I’ve made these a few times, and this is an awesome recipe but I followed users suggestions and cut down the eggs to only 3, replaced the oil for unsweetened applesauce and added 1/4 teas nutmeg. I didn’t think the frosting was cream cheesy enough so I used 2-8oz packages and doubled the vanilla. Made these for a birthday party and many people asked me for the recipe! (I learned the hard way too, dont use a 9X13 pan, the bars were way too thick and didn’t get done in the middle. Follow the directions and use the jelly pan)
