About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake pies cakes and cookies when I have time. This summer I want to plant an herb garden to use in my dishes and make fresh salsa too
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family is danish so we ate alot of Danish food when I was growing up. I dont know how to spell any of them but they were really good.
My cooking triumphs
When my son was little I made little meatloafs that looked like cupcakes "frosted" with mashed potatos and a cake that looked like spaghetti and meatballs for april fools day. I thought they were adorable and delicious
My cooking tragedies
When I tried to make Paula Deans fried chicken recipe at my friends house it kept coming out raw inside. We finally got the hang of it but we didnt eat until 9:00p.m.

Warm Apple Pocket
My son loved this recipe. He said it was perfect. The only thing I changed was instead of brushing egg on the top I brushed it with water and sprinkled cinamon sugar on top.

Easy Batter Fruit Cobbler
I did like the flavor but I didnt like the cobbler part especially around the edges it was really tough. I ended up throwing half of it out and thats not like me.
