Just made this dish tonight... and wow, it was scrumpdillyicious! Yes, I changed a few things and here they are: first, I did a dry rub consisting of garlic powder, pepper, paprika, italian seasoning, cayenne and basil.... then seared the meat before putting into the crock pot.... I used chicken broth instead of water; I used 1/2 c. wine instead of 3/4 c.; and I added soy sauce without measuring, in addition to worcestershire sauce. I tasted NO wine! I had purchased a pork tenderloin at the store that came with onions, carrots, celery and red potatoes.... all were perfectly done after about an hour on high, and 4 hours on low! And yes, this tastes like a prime cut of beef! We will definitely be making this one again!
