Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: May 1, 2012
great recipe, missing a little 'something', next time i think i will add more garlic flavour to it. made in the oven rather than on stovetop as i had a full stovetop of asparagus & corn on the cob. excellent flavour.

Cocoa Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2012
heavenly, added 4 heaping tablespoons peanut butter and didn't make any additions (no raisins, chips, etc) . wonderful recipe, smells delish baking. i baked mine at 350 for exactly 10 minutes on parchment and they are the wonderful combo between a crisp outside and lovely soft interior. the batter was quite soft (although my house is quite warm today) so i refridgerated 10 mins before and kept batter in fridge while they baked. didn't spread at all. YUM!

made this last night and was lovely. i used a little velveeta (am not a fan of processed cheese) but mostly used old sharp cheddar. omitted salt, used black pepper/garlic powder. used yukon gold potatoes.

Jalapeno Chicken

didn't care for - made once according to recipe and then tried adjusting spices more to our liking - something is just not working. the sauce is an excellent idea.

White Chocolate Cheesecake with White Chocolate Brandy Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2011
Adding just another great review. Made tonight, cut recipe in half with an oreo crust - doubled the white chocolate - to DIE for. Served with Kahlua Whipped Cream but enjoyed the cheesecake best on it's own - a raspberry sauce would be great - no sugar added - just simple raspberry puree - boyfriend told me I should open my own cheesecake factory! EXCELLENT.

Mocha Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2011
These are ok. Lovely and moist, I will admit that, but flavour wise, very "meh". I will stick to my TNT banana-chocolate muffin recipe, even as a coffee/mocha lover, these wern't what I was hoping for.

Oven-Roasted Asparagus

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2011
Used EVOO, salt and pepper, garlic powder and parmesan. Tossed asparagus in olive oil, generously sprinkled my spices, baked it and it was HEAVENLY. My dad who hates "rabbit food" (vegetables) raved about it and everyone wished I made more. Keep a careful eye on them, mine only took 6-8 minutes at that hot of an oven. I lowered the temp to 350 and they browned a little slower - less chance of a quick burn.

Stuffed and Wrapped Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2011
I did not have a problem with the filling leaking. Pounded chicken flat, added filling, rolled with bacon and secured with toothpicks. Baked a little longer than reccomended and then broiled. My boyfriend and I where in heaven - next time I will try to use less bacon but thats what held the filling in and made it so deliciously juicy. Great idea!!

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2011
Fabulous. It's become a staple around here. We use extra hot sauce in the crock pot so it comes out perfectly saucy, served on keiser buns. I have ommitted the powdered ranch a few times if I haven't had it on hand, and haven't missed it - fabulous both ways. I usually sprinle a little "garlic plus" in with the hot sauce. SO GOOD.

Oatmeal Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2011
Fantastic cookie as is, but with substitutions, even better. I use a touch of cinnamon, and half whole wheat flour instead of just A/P. I made my cookies 1/4 cup big and baked for 14 min in a 350 degree oven. WONDERFUL!!

fantastic, easy recipe. made the original version, loved it. love it more with some healthy changes - margarine instead of butter, an extra banana and all whole wheat flour - delicious and awesome for breakfast.

Chocophiles

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2009
Didn't have bakers chocolate so I melted 1 cup chocolate chips, unsweetend. I used a full teaspoon of baking soda, half teaspoon of salt and I just used unsweetened chocolate chips. Very good cookie, gooey until cool. Very rich and everyone who tried them, although they are so chocolatey its hard to eat a lot without feeling full
