Slow Cooker Moroccan Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2010
I cooked this for friends and it went down extremely well - clean plates all round. I didn't cut the chicken into pieces though - kept the boneless breasts whole and the meat was lovely and tender. As for the spices, I thought they worked well and there was loads of flavour. This one's a keeper.

Bacon Wrapped Pork Chops in Zesty Sauce

Reviewed: May 3, 2010
I liked this more than I thought I was going to. Very zesty, bit of a kick from the chilli sauce but not enough to put anyone off. All the family liked it and I'll be doing it again. Not sure it needs the sugar though (my tomato chilli sauce had plenty in). I served it with stir-fried rice and peas.

Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2009
I used what we call 'braising steak' here in the UK, a cheap cut of meat.Cooked it for 6 hours on low and the meat just fell apart and my wife said she could eat it EVERY day. It is very sweet though - may not add the sugar next time, otherwise, very good!

Spiced Plum Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2009
From experieince I thought the cooking time was way too long and I see others have suggested the meat was dry. I cooked for 6 hours on low and the meat was fabulously tender. Unfortunately, we didn't like the flavours - too much cinnamon for my taste and a bit sweet too - but even without that, it's not a dish I'd do again.

Peking Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2009
Quick and easy to prepare and lovely flavor. I did it with bonelss pork stakes and found the meat a bit dry so will reduce the cooking time when I do it again but, other than that, a nice dish.

We in the UK are probably not so mad on ribs as you guys but, WOWZER, these are great. I'll be doing these again and again...

Bourbon Whiskey BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2009
Great sauce - only complaint from me is that it was a little sweet for my taste. When I do it again (which I will for sure)I'll cut out the sugar - I reckon ketchup has enough in it to hold it together.

Easiest BBQ Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2009
I made this exactly as per the recipe. It was nice but the sauce isn't really BBQ and I'm not sure I would do it again. It was very easy to make though and that saved it only getting 2*

Molly's Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
I don't give 5 stars easily and this is definitely a big 4. I made it exactly as per the recipe and all the family loved it (apart from one moody teenager). Even our fussy three-year-old wolfed it down and it's on my 'to do again' list. Very nice, thanks for sharing.
