Portobello Mushroom Stroganoff

Delicious! We tried it with olive oil instead of butter and tofu-based sour cream, and it turned out beautifully. We served it with grilled salmon.

Orange Cream Cake I

This one is creamy and fluffy and absolutely great. It's very sweet, which may not appeal to those who prefer more natural flavors, but if you love those orange pushup pops from the ice cream vendor then you will love this!

Pumpkin Chiffon Pie III

I just tried the crust portion of this recipe. Very good, but I would make one correction. I was thrown by the instructions to put an 8-inch pie pan on top of the pan with the crust pressed into it. I didn't know whether to set it on top upside down, like a pot lid, or to flip it over and nestle it into the crust. After consulting with my mother in law, we decided the point was to keep it flat while precooking it and so we nestled it into the crust. It turned out fine!

Deep Dish Pumpkin Pie

This recipe was a delicious variation of the traditional pumpkin pie. It's still delightfully traditional tasting, but the molasses gives it a darker taste that is not too sweet. It fluffed up nice for me in the oven, then sank to a typical pie size.
