I'm a Chemical Engineer. I live in the city, but I grew up in a small town in Southern Alberta. I was raised on whole-wheat homemade bread, veggies from the garden, beef from the butcher, chicken and pork from the Hutterite's and fruit from my granny in Southern BC.
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking stir fry's, fried rice, and pasta dishes. Probably because they are simple, easy and worked well on a student budget.
My cooking triumphs
Hmmmmm I finally got my bread to work properly (I grew up using a Bosche, and I was trying to do it by hand)
My cooking tragedies
Can't think of anything really tragic. My roommate keeps setting the turkey on fire, I haven't done anything even close to that.
