Best Tuna Melt (New Jersey Diner Style)

Wow!!! I never thought of using red wine viniger for a tune salad - I'm SO hooked! This came out delicious, and I didn't even have the celery, and had to use dry parsley. My oven has a Hi and Lo broiler setting, I used the hi. Broiled the bread for one minute on each side as someone suggested, and did one slice with provolone and one with baby Swiss - the Swiss won hands down. On the hi broiler setting 3 minutes was the perfect time to cook this.

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Wow! I love this recipe, and normally I'm not a fan of chicken breast, but I'm trying to cook more healthy foods. Easy, and the taste is unbelievable. I used whole wheat flour, seasoned with a little bit of Paprika and poultry seasoning. Also added some more whole garlic cloves as one of the reviewer recommended - so good!

Indian Style Basmati Rice

Delicious! I had never used cumin seeds in rice before, and was concerned they would be annoying to chew with the rice, boy - was I wrong! Will definitely make this again. I did everything as directed, but added an extra pod of cardamom, a couple of cloves, and a small pinch of saffron. Superb recipe.

Chicken Tikka Masala

DO NOT USE THE SALT AS DIRECTED!!!! This recipe would have turned out great (possibly even a 5 star) if I had not foolishly followed the directions and added all the salt it called for. I had to throw the whole thing out, it was not edible is that form (which sucked, because it smelled so delicious!). And I normally love salty foods... I am sure the amount specifies must be a mistake. Will try again tomorrow, this time using only a little bit of salt, if any.

Oven Roasted Potatoes

Lovely! Absolutely delicious. I used baby potatoes with the skin on, halved or quartered. The crushed red pepper added an unexpected spicy twist. Did not have any marjoram available, but I added some rosemary and dry mint to the herb mixture. Very easy, will definitely make again.
