Smells fabulous, and the batter itself tastes great before being cooked. I have read a few reviews and discovered a lot of people had the same issues I had. It's way too thick. I only added a cup of sugar (partly because I didn't have enough), and in the end, I had to add at least a cup of applesauce because it was too dry and too thick. I think any major changes to the recipe means this recipe isn't that great. Everyone modifies a recipe for some reason, but some of the modifications were big. If I use this recipe again, I will probably change more of it as well, like, less flour, and more moisture. At least is smells great. Thanks for the recipe...I do enjoy trying new recipes.
