Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
I made these for a party last night, they were fantastic! I substituted two tubs of the soft cream cheese with chives and added a cup of shredded cheddar cheese. I would also recommend pre-cooking the bacon a little. I can't wait to make these again!

Baking Powder Drop Biscuits

These were quick and easy to make and tasted very good. A lot of drop biscuits taste really bland, but these had a great flavor.

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2010
I followed other reviewers suggestion of letting the batter rest for a little while and the pancakes turned out delicious. My family raved about them. I will use this recipe again!

Cream Filled Cupcakes

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2010
These were very easy to make. I didn't think the chocolate cake was very chocolately and the filling was a little greasy tasting. I frosted them with the chocolate satin frosting from this site. That was what really put them to a 5. They were delicious. We enjoyed them cold from the fridge. It was hard to determine how much filling to put in. I over-filled half and under-filled the other half. I guess it just takes practice. I would expect to waste a few experimenting with the filling, fill, cut in half and see how much went it.

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2010
This was really easy to make. It was very strong, maybe I'll try milk chocolate chips next time. I didn't feel that it made enough. I was able to just barely frost about 30 cupcakes with it. I would have liked a little bit more.

Bread Machine Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2010
Theses were really good. If you want to use them for sandwich rolls, I would recommend you divide the dough into 8 rolls rather than 12. I did 10 and they were still a little small for a hamburger. They tasted delicious and everyone loved them. I followed the recipe exactly.

White Bread For The Bread Machine

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
This bread was wonderful. I have had my bread machine for a week and have tried a lot of recipes, this is the first one that really tastes like my idea of "homemade" bread. I chose the light crust setting on my machine and it's perfect! Thanks for the recipe!

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2012
I really don't even like french toast, but this was delicious. I used texas toast style bread and it was nice and crispy, not at all soggy. Wonderful!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
This recipe was super yummy and so easy. I used the recipe for "Pat's Dumplings" on this site rather than the biscuits. I will certainly make this recipe again. Thanks for posting it!

Pat's Dumplings

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
I have never made dumplings before and I have very little experience working with any kind of rolled dough. This seemed very dry to me, so I ended up adding an additional 1/4 cup of water. it still seemed dry, but I went ahead and rolled it out. It did roll ok and the end result was wonderful. I loved the dumplings as did the rest of my family. I will certainly use this recipe again. Thanks for posting it!

Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2011
This was very good and very easy. I followed other reviewers advice and baked it in the oven at 375 for about 45 minutes and then just browned it under the broiler for a few minutes. I used thighs with bones in. My whole family loved it and I'm looking forward to having the left-overs for lunch!

World's Best Bacon Cheese Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2010
I made this for Easter dinner. I used a little less mayo (about 1/4 cup) and added about 1/2 cup of sour cream. I used a jar of real bacon bits and put the whole thing in my little crockpot. It took about an hour for everything to melt together. I served it right from the crockpot. It was delicious. Thanks for the recipe!

Hasty Chocolate Pudding

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2010
OMG, this pudding is so good and so easy! I'm trying to make healthier choices for my kids. They love the little pudding packs, but I was shocked by all of the crazy ingredients in them. I decided to bite the bullet and make them homemade pudding. Little did I know it would only take me about 10 minutes! I wish I had done this years ago. I followed the advice of other posters and added a pinch of salt and a tablespoon of butter. It couldn't be better. Thank you so much for the recipe, I'll be making this all the time from now on!
