Coconut Raspberry Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2009
these flattened on me terribly. i hoped they would be more like the cookies you buy at the store with the jam centers. This tasted more like a cut out sugar cookie with jam that melted all over it. These were very yummy. I loved the taste but didnt like the way they looked.

German Pancake with Buttermilk Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2009
The pancake is like any other german or ovenpuffed pancake ive had, but the syrup is amazing. It makes the whole dish. I wont make any other kind of syrup again. ty.

My Best Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2009
I didnt feel this soup had that clamy flavor to it. It probably needs clam juice instead of adding water to the veggies. This soup was good and the family enjoyed it.

Zucchini Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2009
Those who said this was bad probably didnt make it right. I thought it was great for a veggy cobbler. the only thing Id like to change about this recipe is how much butter it called for. If anyone comes up with a low fat recipe for this, that would be awsome. Its worth giving this recipe a shot. Ty, I can see why everyone liked it.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2009
Good frosting. Some of the reviews say to add sugar, but I say "dont". If you add sugar, its gonna be one of THOSE cakes where you scrape off the frosting and eat the cake. I thought this was wonderful and I wish that I added more frosting to my cupcakes. Ty for the recipe.

Nutella® Cheesecake

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2009
I gave this 3 stars cause it was way too sweet. All that sugar overpowers the cheese and nutella. But I'll give this a 5 star the way I made it the second time. I used 2 blocks of cream cheese, 2 eggs, 1 tsp of vanilla, and 1 jar of nutella.(dont not add extra sugar) I baked this at 350 for 30-45mins. in a 8 inch spring form pan. For the crust i used chocolate cookie crumbles(eyeballed it), 1 egg white, and 2 tablespoons butter and baked the crust at 350 for 8 mins. Let the cake chill for atleast a full day or more. The longer it sits the better it gets. This worked out very well and everyone loved it. I think it could used more hazelnut flavor. I'd suggest maybe adding chopped toasted hazelnuts. Anyways, if you want a real cheesecake then turn this into a baked cheese cake.

Wheat Germ Whole-Wheat Buttermilk Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2009
I give this a 5 star but, I made changes to the original recipe. I took advice from another review and used baking powder instead of soda. Baking soda seemed wierd. I also put sliced bananas in all my pancakes. These were so good and so easy. Very simple. I will not make any changes, and this will be my new regular pancake recipe. TY so much.

Whole Wheat Snickerdoodles II

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2009
For wheat snickerdoodles, these were pretty good. I made it, as is. Everything seems to work out well except the cinnamon flavor. The wheat over powered the cinnamon coading. These were yummy but if I want a snickerdoodle, I think it needs more cinnamon. Mayby ill try to put it in the dough as well. Great cookies, thanks.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2009
Pretty good for hardly no ingredients. This is not a sub. for regular pb cookies. These were too grainy with all that sugar. Way to sweet. These came out soft and gooey. I cooked them a couple of min. longer cause they looked doughy. They are good tho. I do love how small this recipe is. It makes testing out cookies much better. Im not sure if the sugar helps hold the cookies together or not, but Im definitly going to make these with considerably less sugar next time.

JELL-O Popcorn Balls

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2009
Good stuff. I used berry blue flavor. It was nice and tangy but not a best jello flavor to begin with lol. I used it cause i loved the thought of making blue popcorn. For sure, the other flavors would be awsome. This is a sticky mess when making it, So oil up your hands or use water. I also used 2 bags of 94% fat free buttered flavor popcorn for the microwave. I liked the nice buttery flavor mixed with all the sugar goodness.

Lemon Cloud Popcorn

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2009
This was nice and different. I followed it exactly but it was quite chewy. Like, pull out your cavity chewy. I like my popcorn soft or chrunchy. Anything in between is too much work on your mouth lol. This was super sweet and sugary but has a nice lemony flavor. I liked it but I wont make it again. I think Im gonna try the Cinnamon Popcorn II recipe and maybe melt crushed up lemon heads instead of red hots. That sounds much easier.
