This was really good! I didn't have browning sauce so I used worchestershire. I also used fresh carrots and potatoes, used can green peas. Cooked it according to recipe...yummy!

I made this exactly per instructions with half frozen and half fresh berries. My whole family loved it! I don't think I put it on the botton rack, but baked it on temp. recommended with no problem. This is my blueberry pie recipe forever!!

Candied Apples II

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
I think this recipe would have been totally awesome if I hadn't burned it! I burned it real good because I wasn't confident with it, but next time I hope it goes better. It smelled just perfectly yummy up till I burned it!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2009
I followed the recipe, but I may have used more vanilla as I have read that makes the cookie with any cookie. I had no problems at all and they turned out so nice. We used cookie cutters an tried the parchment advice, I prefer to use the counter top. My son even shaped some into numbers and we hand cut some into clovers. They all looked and tasted great. We used red and green sprinkles! These were the hit of the cookie party that had many different varieties reprsented. Thanks for the great recipe!

Quick Spaghetti Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
This sauce was very good and a hit with my husband and 2 boys. It rivals my favorite local rest. sauce that I just love! Thanks for the recipe. I didn;t use green peppers because I didn't have any.

Sour Cream Coffee Cake I

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
My family loved this coffe cake! It was hard to wait for the cake to cool to drizzle the icing, so I didn't. It went on thin, but later after the cake cooled properly I spooned it back on and it covered nicely. I didn't measure the milk and powdered sugar, I just "eyeballed" it. I threw some pecans in the middle with the br. sugar and cinnamom, yummy! I plan on making this Christmas morning wen my in-laws are visiting. Thanks for posting this recipe!

Fluffy Biscuits

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
My husband said these were really good, I kinda thought they tasted like flour. I am not a big biscuit fan, so what do i know! The recipe didn't make near 12 biscuits for me. I had to roll them out considerably thin to get 10 out of it. They did bake up really nice and tall anyway! I will make these again if my hubby wants me too, But I may try to look for another. It was very simple to do, always a plus!

Fluffy Whole Wheat Biscuits

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
Thses cooked up really nice and were not difficult to do. My family and i just didn't care for the taste. If you expect a whole wheat taste, you'll be okay with it. I guess we were expecting more of a greasy biscuit taste, being southerners! It is a nice recipe for a healthier biscuit.

Seafood Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2010
This was so good! Thanks for the recipe. I had this years ago when a neighbor made it for our"Knots Landing" party. I used 1 can of crabmeat and then steamed frozen crab legs for the red color of the meat. I think it gives a nicer presentation with the red color.

Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2010
I thought these were really yummy! The sugars on top made it just the thing I was looking for. Unfortunatly my "picky" son didn't like the texture of the sugars, but my other son thought they made the muffin the best recipe I have tried!! Thanks for this recipe, it's a keeper! I followed directions and recipe EXActly!

New York Italian Pizza Dough

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2010
This is the best pizza dough recipe I have found. I only let it sit in the refrigerator about 30 mins. and it still turned out really yummy!! I also used a mixer instead of my bread machine. I just find it easier! Thanks for this recipe, I love it!!

Quinoa Side Dish

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2010
I gave this only 4 stars because I don't care for the veg broth. I made this with the veg broth and that was all I could taste. I think it would be really good with another broth. I am hoping to try it again soon! Thanks for the recipe!

Easy Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2010
This was REALLY good! I made it just as the recipe states, except I chopped up some semi sweet chocolate chips because that is what I had. It was the first time i had made icecream in a small electric churn and it turned out better than perfect. The ladies at my church sopcial requested I bring it to the next meeting! A few days later their husbands were still talking about how good their wives said my icecream was!! When I froze the little bit leftover, it seemed to get dry and crumbly, but as it thawed some it softened back up nice! I will be making this again. My whole family liked it too!!

Vegetable Curry

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2010
I made this for my husband and he said it was really good!! Iused different vegis as to what I had on hand and I don't have turmeric. Let me tell you- whatever i threw in there smelled really good and I never had to add liquid> That surprised me tremendously!! I used some really OLD potatoes and my hubby said the pots. did not taste good with this. Fresh ones could have made a difference. I will make this again for hubby!!

Hearty Morning Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2010
I was surprised how good and yummy these were! Of course, I made adjustments according to what i had in my kitchen. I was out of coconut and didn't have apricots. I used 1/2 the amount of oil, I used olive oil, and added 2 single serving cups of applesauce in substitute. I also added an entire cup of chocolate chips since my sons were expecting chocolate chip muffins. Even with my subs. I felt I was giving them a healthy alternative to their regular choc. chip muffins. They didn't even flinch at the sight of the shredded carrots and I thought they gave the muffins color and character. We had them again this morning, left over from yesterday, and they were just as good. Color me surprised and in LOVE with this recipe!!!

Japanese Ginger Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2011
I made this with a little less olive oil and added just a little sesame oil. It tasted AWESOME!!!! After 2 days it became very chunky and weird consistancy, but it still tasted very good. I thought maybe it was because of the oil I left out. I added more but it still stayed sort of "sepaerated" for lack of a better term. It is really thick and when I stir it it stays the same. I don't know why, but I still enjoy the flavor. I also added some rice vinegar to see if it would change the consistancy, but it hasn't. *Update* I set the dressing out of the fridge for a little bit, as a reviewer suggested to another, and it went right back to the consistancy it should be. Thanks reviewers!!! :)
