Tuna Noodle Casserole II

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2010
I made several changes to the recipe including: seasoning the soup with a dollop of sour cream, worchestershire sauce, dill weed, salt, pepper, paprika & cayenne pepper. I sauteed onion, fresh mushrooms & celery in butter prior to adding to soup. I used a combination of cheddar cheese and mexican blend instead of American cheese. And lastly, I used a topping of bread crumbs, butter and parmesan cheese. Very rich and filling.

Big Al's K.C. Bar-B-Q Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2010
I only had 1 can of tomato sauce so I added 6 oz of tomato paste with 6 oz of water. Made the sauce richer in flavor than just using tomato sauce.

Spaghetti Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2009
I make a soup very similar to this, however, I make mine with a beef base. Instead of chicken & chicken broth, I use hamburger and beef broth. I add potato, onion, celery & corn. For seasoning, I add worchestershire sauce, salt, pepper, cajun seasoning & chopped garlic. I use either tomato soup or V8 juice as the tomato base. The spaghetti is a fun touch to the soup. Simmer until the vegetables are tender and enjoy.

Easy Pancakes

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2009
This recipe is even better when you use half the required oil and substitute butter for the other half. I also added a teaspoon of vanilla and grated fresh nutmeg into the mix. Delicious!

After cooking the carrots, I added butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, fresh ground ginger and fresh ground nutmeg. It gave the carrots a sweet carmeled flavor.

Golden Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2009
This was a pretty easy meal to make although I made several changes to the recipe. I added chicken broth to the soup and seasoned with worcestershire sauce, red wine and a small amount of powdered gravy mix. The fresh mushrooms were sauteed with garlic and onions also seasoned with worcestershire sauce. red wine, salt & pepper. I added this to the pork chops prior to putting in the oven. I served over noodles with candied carrots. Hope this helps generate new ideas.
