Honey Whole Wheat Bread

Delicious! Followed all directions except added 4 teaspoons vital wheat gluten to dry ingredients to create finer texture and aid in rising. Mixed dough in bread machine, punched down and shaped into loaf, let rise another 30 minutes. slashed top, brushed with butter, & baked in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Divine bread.

Quick and Easy Green Chile Chicken Enchilada Casserole

Delicious & easier than the recipe I usually use. Family loved it! It is not too spicy for a kid's palate, yet it is not bland, either. I made as directed except I had a lot of unused tortillas left over. I think it was because my pan was about a 10" square foil roaster about 4" deep. I used 2 10 oz. cans of Kroger brand green enchilaa sauce, and it was still plenty saucy. This is a really flexible recipe.

Slow Cooker Homemade Beans

Beans still very tough after 12 hours; good flavor though. I even tried finishing them the last hour on the stove to try to salvage them. As another reviewer said, beans have to be cooked to tender first, before any salt or acidic ingredients are added. I knew better but tried the recipe as written. Next time will cook beans in plain water first, then add all flavoring ingredients.

Tortilla Espanola

Very good. The smoked paprika gives it good flavor. I also like a southewestern variation of this dish containing a clove of garlic, chopped red pepper, 1 ear corn kernels, and cilantro instead of parsley. This is a great base recipe that you can change to your family's taste--or use whatever odds and ends you have in the fridge.

Slow Cooker Cider Pork Roast

This roast is tender and juicy. My husband and son are both picky about food cooked in the slow cooker, but they liked this. I reduced the water to about 1/2 cup. I put it in the slow cooker on low and used the temperature probe to switch to "warm" when it reached 170 degrees. Supper was done when we got home from work and school. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
