Sugar Cookie Drops

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2011
Excellent recipe! I took user suggestions and added 1/4 tsp of salt. Thank you! We made Red, White, & Blue Sugar for the fourth of July, and they were a huge hit with the whole family!

Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2010
This is best cookie recipe I've ever used! I made one batch with chocolate chips and another batch with toffee, and both were chewy and delicious, ever DAYS later. Thanks so much, this will definitely be my go-to cookie recipe from now on. =)

Spider Cupcakes

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2010
The were really fun to make and my girls (and the neighbors) loved them! I took the advice of other reviewers and used the peel and twist twizzlers, instead of trying to find black licorice. Thanks for the recipe!

Seven Layer Dip I

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2010
This would delicious! I agree with some other reviewers that it could use some heat (and I don't even like spicy things), because all of the savory flavors can be overwhelming to the palate. But overall it was a winner. My guests even took the last little remnants home with them. Thanks!

Scottley's Basic Yellow Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2010
I am sooo impressed with this recipe! I tried baking cakes from scratch before, but they never quite came out right. This cake is moist, fluffy and delicious. It didn't stick to my pans at all (which most boxed cake mixes usually do). I took the suggestions of others and used 3 eggs/all purpose flour. I will definitely use this recipe again and again. I always have the ingredients on hand, so this will be standard cake mix. Thanks so much Scottley!

Made these for my daughters' birthday, and they were gone before my girls could even taste them! The honey is a great touch. Will definitely make again!

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2009
This was delicious! I always wanted to make alfredo, and this was the first time I made it. I didn't have any Colby-Jack so I used only Parmigiano Reggiano because I had a lot (it was on sale). Even my 2 and 3 year old tore it up, mushrooms included! Thank you so much for submitting this recipe, it's excellent and quick!

Sesame Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2009
This was a good starting point for a marinade of sesame chicken. I only marinated my chicken for 30 minutes. I have toddlers, so I didn't add the red pepper flakes, but I did add about 1 tsp of grated ginger and 1 tsp of grated garlic. After it was done, I topped the chicken with green onions, and served it with rice and sauteed green beans. It came out really good. Thanks!

Chicken Flautas

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2009
I had flautas at a Mexican restaurant and wanted to recreate them at home for my family. I must admit I only used this recipe as guide. I rubbed my chicken breasts in chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt & pepper, broiled them, then shredded them. I didn't have picante sauce, so I made some salsa verde. Also, at the restaurant they were served with a jalapeno jelly and I tried to recreate that too. It came out wonderful, and my family loved it. Thanks
