Baked Spaghetti

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2010
Fantastic. Perfect. Awesome. I had a dish similar to this at a dinner party and (as usual) I was determined to figure out how to make it. Allrecipes to the rescue! This was our Christmas Eve dinner. I feed a crowd of hungry family members every year and I am always looking for something new and yummy. It was easy to put together, hearty and delicious. Everyone wanted the recipe. Might make it again for New Year's Eve. Would not substitute or change a single thing!

Maryland Crab Cakes III

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2010
This recipe has made me a legend among my family and friends. Living on the Eastern Shore, you HAVE to know how to make good crab cakes. I only make these with fresh, jumbo lump crab meat (at $25-30 a pound!) and only for special occasions. I use Ritz crackers. There is just enough good stuff to hold them together without compromising the taste of all that yummy crab. My husband won't order them in a restaurant anymore. THANK YOU!

Sausage Egg Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2010
We absolutely love this. It is my 'go-to' dish to take along for any morning event--playgroups, work meetings, etc. I have made it ahead to take camping too and baked it in the motorhome in the morning. I have also made it in individual muffin-size portions in a muffin pan (don't cook as long!) It is delicious! Thank you!

Bill's Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2010
LOVE IT. Sausage Gravy and Biscuits has always been our Christmas Breakfast. I couldn't find my mom's recipe, so I tried this one. I think she was offended at first, but now she uses 'Bill's' too. We don't always use maple sausage--sometimes we use sage or country sausage. We've even done it with turkey sausage. Always perfect!

Mexican Chicken Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2010
Goodness. This is AMAZING. I 'cheat' and use a rotisserie chicken from the store. I just shred it all up. I also add a can of white beans because we love beans and it makes it even more hearty. It is equally as awesome as leftovers. Thank you so much for this delicious recipe!

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2010
I will never order it in a restaurant again. That's how I know I have found a great recipe. Make sure you buy a good 'triangle' of Parmesan cheese and grate it fresh so it melts smoothly. I also use half and half instead of heavy cream to make it slightly less fattening (but really--butter, cheese, cream? It's fattening no matter what!). Thank you so much for the great recipe! We serve it with blackened chicken on top.

Fast and Friendly Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2009
The best, plain and simple! I make these as written and my kids gobble them up, but I also 'doctor up' this recipe with other seasonings (fresh garlic, parmesan cheese, sage, red pepper flakes, etc.) when I want a little extra kick. Thanks for the excellent recipe!

Tuscan Turkey Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2009
Fabulous. My husband and I ate this for dinner with garlic breadsticks, and then we finished up the leftovers for lunch the following day. The only change I made was to add 2 very thinly sliced red potatoes. I am making it again this week.

Lana's Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2009
This was excellent! I used ground turkey because that is my family's preference. I also used fresh grated ginger--not dried powdered ginger. It was delicious over brown rice. I can't wait to make it for company!
