It's Me!!
About this Cook
Hello. My name is Laura. I'm a 27 year old SAHM. Married to my southern sweetheart Brett. We have two children, Brandon (5) and Kairi (5 months). We live in a small town in the south. I love it.
My favorite things to cook
Mexican, Asian. Mmmm. I'm forced to make chicken enchaladas every time we go grocery shopping.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Tamoles for Christmas!! I've yet to learn the way my grandma makes them but you can pretty much get them here all year round.
My cooking triumphs
This last New Years was my first go at a Ham. It came out pretty good. I'm proud of myself.
My cooking tragedies
Following cookbooks. Yikes. I'm better off going at it on my own. (Not trying to sound too cocky here) I think I get distracted too easily.

Albondigas Soup II
Delicious!! My whole family of picky eaters enjoyed this. Reminds me of the soup my grandma made when I was a kid. I read some of the reviews and did add 6 cups of water instead of the couple, and used 4 bouillion cubes, 3 might have just been fine but I was being cautious. Made plently. Going to make again tonight by request!

Krystal's Perfect Marinade for BBQ or Grilled Chicken
I've made this a couple times, it's wonderful! Last time I even doubled the recipe and it came out so good.

Guy Approved Meatloaf
This came out so yummy, family loved it. Made it with mashed potatoes and gravy, on the side. Although it did come out rather greasy. Made it with BBQ flavored potato chips instead of regular and you can really tell a difference. Next time I'm going to go a little easy on the onions though. Hubby was picking them out. lol.
