Key Lime Pie VII

Super easy. A little strong on the lime flavor for my taste, but I loved it.

Basic Corn Muffins

I thought these were a little plain. The texture was decent and they weren't too seet, just didn't have a strong enough flavor for me.

Lots of flavor. I love flounder and was looking for some other way to make it besides frying and this is it. I will make this again and again.

Campbell's® Slow Cooker Savory Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2010
Like other reviewers I changed this a little. I don't like mushrooms so I used cream of celery coup. I skipped the carrots. I also added an 18 oz. can of ready to serve french onion soup. My roast was very tender and tasty but a little dry. I cooked for 7.5 hrs. on low. I think next time I will try 6.5 hrs.

Slow Cooker Creamy Potato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2010
Like a lot of other people I made some changes. I used light cream instead of half n half and used fat free evaporated milk. I halved the recipe and added about 1 stalk of celery. I also added the bacon and cheddar cheese at the end. Very tasty.

Slow Cooker Thanksgiving Turkey

Reviewed: May 7, 2010
This was neat way to do turkey. I used about a 7 lb. breast and cooked on low for 6.5 hrs. It was a little dry even though I did add a can of chicken broth. The only thing that I didn't count on was I couldn't get the breast out of the pot in one piece. It just fell apart, although not necessarily a bad thing. I also just added salt and pepper. I didn't try making gravy because I had a hard time getting it out but I will try it next time. All in all it was tasty and will make it this way again but I will try cutting the cooking time a little.

Amazing! So good. I added a little more cheese only because I am a cheese freak. I will make this over and over.

Spring Lime Tea Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2011
Great simple cookie. I followed some other reviews and put the dough in the fridge for about an hour before I baked them. They came out great. This is one recipe I will make over and over.

Absolutely Ultimate Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2013
I tweaked this to my liking also. I cooked onions and celery in butter, not bacon grease. Also used whole milk instead of cream. I omitted cilantro an tarragon and used dill instead. I also only put about 3 pieces of bacon back into the soup and and left the rest to put on top when I serve it. This soup was very tasty, rich, and creamy. When I made the roux, I cooked it until it was fairly thhick before adding it to the soup. I will make this again!
