Mustard Onion Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2009
I don't care for a strong taste of mustard. As I made these, I thought the mustard would be overwhelming. When they came out of the oven, they looked, well, bright. Not the way I want my food to appear....looks can be deceiving! These were delicious. No alterations, just what the recipe called for!!!

Baked Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2009
Made this twice. The first time with cream of chicken and the second with cream of mushroom. I preferred the chicken, while my husband the mushroom. To say, both were delicious. We did add cheese (personal preference) and we had to cook much longer than recipes states...but well worth the wait. I will make again and again and again!

Wow. This was great. My husband cooked it for 10 minutes on each side at it turned out medium rare. Was delicious! Even the kids wanted more!

Herb-Crusted Chuck Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2011
So tender, so moist, and so flavorful. After rubbing the crust on the roast, I put it in the crockpot along with two cups beef broth and let it cook all day. I could smell it walking up to the house after work. Best part, it tasted tens times better than it smelled. Will definitely make this again!

Drunken Grilled Asparagus

Fabulous. I was leery to try this recipe. It looked like a distaster. I am glad I didn't let this one pass me by. Definitely a keeper!

Sour Cream Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2009
Wow! This was great. I too altered the recipe. I had cream of chicken with herbs (and I added onion powder, garlic, oregano, pepper and a pinch of salt). I thought I had enough sour cream, but came up 1/2 cup short. I replaced with milk. It was delicious. However, I think that the entire amount of sour cream (as the recipe calls for) would be better! I will make this recipe again, and again and again!

Hudson's Baked Tilapia with Dill Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2011
WOW. This is wonderful. Absolutely the best. I do not like creamy sauces with any dish, but my husband and children do. I try and find recipes that I don't have to add it onto and this fit the bill. But, I added the sauce to my fish, and my cous cous and my asparagus....and I still wanted more.

This is wonderful. You can add to it, take away from it and it is still wonderful. Plus my two kids under 5 LOVED it.

Slow Cooker Carnitas

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2011
Hello flavor. These were bursting with flavor, moist and falling apart and down right the best carnitas I have ever had! Only thing I changed is the cooking time. They were done in 4 hours on low in my slow cooker.

Yummy. These were exceptional. I didn't have almond extract, so I substituted for lemon juice as others had. Very moist. Thanks.

Apple Stuffed Pork Chops

The absolute most delicious stuffed pork chops I have ever eaten. I did follow one suggestion and only went with one cup bread crumbs. Otherwise, I followed the directions. Amazing.

Roasted Asparagus with Herbes de Provence

Amazing. Loved the texture and taste. I used regular salt. Definitely will use sea salt next time or double up on regular salt as it lacked it in flavor.

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2010
The first time I made these, I didn't refrigerate them. Huge mistake. The second time, they were superb. I didn't have chunky PB when I made either batch and they were delicious. Next time I will make the cookies with chunky PB...if I get the PB before I get the craving.
