Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2009
This is the easiest glaze to make in the microwave. I put all ingredients in a bowl and microwaved on 40% power for about a minute. I stirred the glaze and it was just beautiful with perfect consistency. It looks just like the picture and is the right amount for a bundt cake. Terrific..

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2009
OMG!!!! My husband said "this is dangerous" when he first took a bite. He was right. The cake is addictively delicious. So much chocolate but not disgustingly sweet as many chocoate desserts can be. It is so moist and just absolutely delicious. The best part about this recipe was that all the ingredients were already on my pantry shelf. Well worth it and a new family favorite. I put a glaze on it and WOW was it yummy.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies III

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2009
WOW are these cookies delicious. I do find them to be a little rich with the filling so I may try to tone that down a little but other than that this is a definate treasure of a recipe. I am so glad I tried it because I absolutely adore the Girl Scout cookies that these mimic. The cookie part of the recipe is terrific and can certainly stand on their own without the filling. With the filling mine were substantial in size so I will make them a bit smaller next time. This will be a go to recipe for years to come. With a glass of milk they are sinfully delicious. Thanks for the recipe.

White Chocolate, Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2009
The cookies were very good and as many wrote they are like a brownie. I only baked them for 8 minutes and found that some did break apart easily so I will bake for 10 minutes next time. This recipe is a keeper. The cookies are sweet but not too sweet and were very easy to make. Very enjoyable thank you for the recipe.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
Can I just say DELICIOUS!! I hadn't made meatloaf in years until I tried this recipe and so far I have made it at least 3 times in 2 months. I too put the ketchup and brownsugar on the top it didn't seem to make sense on the bottom. This last time I decided to put 1/4 cup each of ketchup and brown sugar in the mix also since I do like sweet. Well it was even better but I will lighten up on the brown sugar next time. It was tasty but a little less will do the trick.

Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
I LOVED THIS potato salad. Bacon in my potato salad is a must so this was perfect. My husband wondered where the tang was since I always used vinegar in prior recipes. I might put a tad in this recipe next time I make it (which will be today) but other than that I thought this was just an awesome recipe.

Stef's Whoopie Pies with Peanut Butter Frosting

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
I found the whoopie pies to be very soft so much so that they fell apart when handled. After a few did this I put them in the refrigerator to harden up in the hope that they would be more managable. The flavor was just OK and they did not puff up when baked so they were more of a flat cookie. I don't know if I did something wrong or not but I followed the recipe exactly and didn't find these to be very successful. I would not try this again. The filling was tasty so I might use this with another whoopie pie recipe since I favor the peanut butter filling over the white.
